We are working towards a better future – with your engagement we can go further

On several key issues, societies around the world are at crossroads. How can climate change be addressed? How will democracy evolve in the world? How will technological breakthroughs shape our lives? How can we best address social challenges such as integration, economic inequality and crime?

At the Institute for Futures Studies, researchers from a wide range of disciplines are working to find solutions to the greatest challenges of our time. Through an interdisciplinary approach, we engage in urgent, ground-breaking and future-focused research. The generated knowledge is then passed on to policymakers and society at large.

In order to continue and develop the Institute's work, we co-operate with a range of stakeholders involved in future-oriented issues. This involves contributions to our general activities, such as our research themes, as well as new projects initiatives or new forms of research communication.
