Most of this seminar will be in Swedish. One of the presentations, however, will be in English.
In Sweden the amounts of payments made with cash are decreasing and it has been claimed that in 2030 we will have stopped using cash altogether. This means we will get very dependent on commercial banks and their infrastructure. But is this the only way forward?
In this seminar we discuss alternatives with two researchers and a representative from Riksbanken will tell us about e-kronan, a digital version of the Swedish krona.
