Philosophical and Psychological Perspectives on Implicit Cognition. Workshop on the 25th and 26th of May at the Institute for Futures Studies.
The theme of this workshop is implicit cognition, with a particular focus on issues at the intersection of philosophy and psychology. Recent experimental findings concerning implicit racial and gender biases, priming effects and various forms of change and choice blindness raise a number of important questions of interest to both philosophers and psychologists. The aim of the conference is to bring together leading researchers from around the world to discuss these issues, and to put Sweden at the forefront of this expanding area of research.
