This project aims to promote a more sustainable society by engaging more citizens in a discussion about our society's future, and combating polarization and echo chambers.
This is achieved by developing a method for discussions about research results. Performative tools will be used to create engagement and understanding, allowing for the processing of dilemmas and the generation of meaning in the group. The method is intended to serve as a space where citizens are invited to engage with current social research, but where participants' own experiences, rather than the research results themselves, serve as the starting point. The thought model used by the author and philosopher Lea Ypi in her book "Free: A Growing Up at the End of History" is used as inspiration: understanding concepts related to society and societal development by reflecting on one's own upbringing.
The project aims to create a compact, replicable performing arts format that can then be disseminated and used in various contexts such as schools, libraries, organizations, study associations, etc., to provide a platform where people can engage with current research in a way that involves group participation.
