Amber is Associate Professor in Criminology at Stockholm University and Senior Lecturer at Örebro University. Her research focuses on how developmental factors influence criminal offending and victimization across the life-course.
At the Institute for Futures Studies, Amber is co-principal investigator for the project 4C – The Swedish Consortium for the study of Contemporary Criminal Collaboration. During 2024–2024, Amber, along with colleagues from other Nordic countries, will host a series of meetings at the institute on biopsychosocial theory and critique in the Nordic region, funded by the Nordic Research Council for Criminology.
