I am a professor of philosophy at Stockholm University and a researcher here at the institute. I received my PhD from the Department of History and Philosophy of Science, at the University of Cambridge. I have held positions as postdoctoral fellow at Trinity College, Cambridge, and as CUF lecturer and tutorial fellow at St Hilda’s College, and the University of Oxford. I am currently an affiliated researcher at the Institute of Philosophy, University of London, where I am a participant in the AI and Humanity Project.
I have wide interests in philosophy, including epistemology and the philosophy of mind, language, logic, cognitive science, and AI. At the institute, I am participating in two ongoing projects, Beyond Reductionism: Contingent Grounding and the Mind-Body Problem (funded by the Swedish Research Council), and Cultural Evolution in Digital Societies (funded by the Marianne and Marcus Wallenberg Foundation).
