I am a researcher in ethnic and migration studies with a special interest for integration processes. I received my doctorate from Linköping University with the dissertation The value of immigrants' human capital for labour market integration, in which i studied how the human capital of immigrants is used and valued on the Swedish labour market.
At the Institute for Futures Studies, I work with two research projects. In Immigrant women in European labour markets: connecting culture, institutions, and human capital I examine labour market outcomes for immigrant women in Europe. In Migration and equity in sexual and reproductive health, I focus on the social norms and values of immigrants, how these change over time in Sweden, and how they influence interactions with various societal institutions.
