I have been a project researcher at the Institute for Futures Studies since January 2025 and work with migration-related research funded by DELMI, the Delegation for Migration Studies. My research concerns, among other things, attitudes towards migration in Sweden. In my research, I use data from the Gallup World Poll (access made possible by DELMI).
I have a long background as director of various departments at the Swedish international development co-operation agency Sida and as head of the research unit at UNICEF's research department in Florence - Innocenti. I received my Ph.d. at the University of Gothenburg in Peace and Development Research and I also have a fil.lic. in Economics from Stockholm University.
