I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Political Science at Stockholm University and the Institute for Futures Studies within the project Transformative Partnerships for Sustainable Development. Within this international research project, my work specifically investigates the effectiveness of partnerships between state and non-state actors including international organisations, private actors, civil society and non-governmental organisations. My research beyond the project focuses on global sustainable development and international environmental and climate politics, including local climate adaptation and disaster risk reduction. My teaching mainly covers aspects of global sustainable development.
In 2022, I defended my PhD in political science at the Department of Government, Uppsala University. I am also an alum and part of the Centre of Natural Hazards and Disaster Science (CNDS) Naturkatastrofslära, an interdisciplinary research collaboration between Uppsala University, Karlstad University, and the Swedish Defence University.
In an upcoming project, I will be looking at the implementation of the EU Green Deal.
