Professor vid Statsvetenskapliga institutionen vid Stockholms universitet och Pro Futura Fellow vid SCAS i Uppsala. Innan 2015 var jag professor vid statsvetenskapliga institutionen vid Uppsala universitet.
Jag forskar i politisk filosofi. Min forskning fokuserar dels på demokratiteori, särskilt om frågor kring demokrati bortom staten, i en global kontext, dels på metodologiska och metateoretiska frågor i politisk teori, såsom frågor om ideal och icke-ideal teori och normativa politiska teoriers genomförbarhet.
